MEs Terms of Use

This English translation is provided for reference. Per Article 20, the Japanese version is the official text and prevails in case of any discrepancy.

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the conditions for use of the service (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). All users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") must agree to these Terms and use the Service in accordance with the provisions hereof. Use of the Service shall be deemed as agreement to these Terms.

If a User is a minor, they must obtain prior consent from a parent or legal guardian before agreeing to these Terms. Consent by a minor shall be deemed to have been granted with the approval of their legal representative.

Article 1 (Purpose)

The Service utilizes 3D/VR technologies to provide immersive content experiences. As this is a beta version in development, the Company may request feedback from Users for improvements and optimization.

Article 2 (Provision of Service)

The Service will be provided to Users for a period specified by the Company.

As a beta version, the Service may be changed or terminated at any time without prior notice at the discretion of the Company. Such notices will be made through the Service.

The Company may take any necessary measures to protect its interests or those of third parties. Even if such measures cause Users to incur damage or lose access to paid content or services, the Company bears no liability for compensation or reimbursement.

If a User engages in actions that may harm the interests of the Company or third parties—such as negative campaigns or racist or socially disruptive conduct—the User must, at the Company's request, take all necessary measures to prevent or remedy any resulting or potential harm and compensate affected parties.

Article 3 (Feedback)

If the Company requests feedback regarding the use of the Service, Users shall respond accordingly. The method, period, and scope of such requests are determined at the Company's discretion. Users agree that the Company may use any or all knowledge provided through feedback without payment or other compensation.

The Company or a third party may monitor and record User activity within the Service, restrict access or features, and limit actions within the 3D/VR space.

Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must comply with applicable laws and these Terms and must not cause inconvenience to other Users.

The Company may take appropriate action, including suspension or restriction of account access. Criminal behavior may be reported to authorities.

Article 5 (Accounts)

Users must create an account to access the Service and provide accurate, up-to-date information. Users are responsible for managing their account and must report any unauthorized use to the Company immediately.

Article 6 (Privacy Policy)

The handling of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy. Users agree to comply with the policy.

Article 7 (Copyrights, IP, and Licensing)

Content provided by the Service is protected by copyright owned by the Company or third parties. Users may use content only within the limits permitted by law.

Users retain intellectual property rights to their submitted content, excluding parts owned by the Company or third parties. However, Users grant the Company a global, royalty-free license to use (including reproduction, modification, publication, distribution, promotional use, etc.) and agree not to enforce moral rights.

Users also grant other Users the right to freely use, modify, or redistribute submitted content within the scope of the Service, and waive any moral rights.

Article 8 (User Content)

Users may upload or share content, but the following are prohibited:

The Company may delete such content without notice and restrict account access if necessary.

Article 9 (Account Suspension or Termination)

If a User falls under any of the following items, or if the Company reasonably determines that a User does, the Company may, without prior notice, deny access to all or part of the Service; suspend or alter the User's account; enjoin use of content; claim damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees; or delete all or part of the information associated with the User. The Company has no obligation to explain its reasons. The Company may also conduct identity verification it considers necessary to confirm that none of the following apply, and may deny access or suspend use until that verification is complete:

The Company may permanently prohibit a User subject to these measures from using or accessing the Service or any official version of it in the future.

The Company assumes no liability for damage arising from measures taken under this Article.

Article 10 (Disclaimers)

The Service is under development and is provided on the assumption that bugs, malfunctions, or other defects may occur and that it may not operate normally. The Company provides the Service “as is” and makes no warranty that it will meet a User's particular purpose; have the expected functions, commercial value, accuracy, or usefulness; comply with laws, regulations, or industry rules applicable to the User; or operate without defects.

The Company has no involvement in, and assumes no responsibility for, a User's operating environment.

The Company does not warrant that the Service is compatible with every device. Users acknowledge that updates to a device's operating system or similar changes may cause the Service to malfunction, and the Company does not warrant that any program correction it makes will resolve such a malfunction.

Users acknowledge that changes to Steam's terms of use or operating policies may restrict use of some or all of the Service.

The Company assumes no liability for direct or indirect damage incurred by a User through use of the Service. The Company also assumes no liability for lost opportunities, business interruption, or any other damage incurred by Users or third parties, including indirect damage and lost profits, even if advised in advance of the possibility of such damage.

The preceding limitation does not apply where the Company has acted intentionally or with gross negligence, or where the User is a consumer under the Consumer Contract Act. In that case, the Company is not liable for damage arising from special circumstances that was caused by negligence other than gross negligence.

The Company assumes no responsibility for disputes or problems between Users. Users must resolve such matters between themselves and may not make any claim against the Company. If a User damages another User or becomes involved in a dispute with a third party in connection with the Service, the User must compensate for the damage or resolve the dispute at their own expense and responsibility without causing inconvenience or damage to the Company.

If a User damages the Company in connection with use of the Service, the User must compensate the Company at the User's expense and responsibility, including litigation costs and attorneys' fees. If a third party makes a claim against the Company because of a User's conduct, the User must resolve the claim at the User's expense and responsibility. If the Company pays damages to that third party, the User must reimburse all resulting costs, including the damages paid, attorneys' fees, and lost profits.

Where the Company is liable for damages in connection with the Service, its liability is limited to the amount it received from the User during the month in which the damage occurred.

The Company has no obligation to carry User data from the Service into any service provided after the beta period ends.

Article 11 (Service Changes or Termination)

The Company may change, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice. The Company is not liable for any resulting damages.

When provision of the Service or a User's use of it ends, the User must, at the Company's request, return or delete files, data, and other information provided by the Company for the Service.

Article 12 (3D / VR Usage and Safety)

Users acknowledge the potential health risks (dizziness, motion sickness, seizures, etc.) and use the Service at their own risk.

Users must take appropriate safety precautions, and the Company is not responsible for any resulting injuries or damages.

Article 13 (Amendments)

The Company may amend these Terms at any time without notice in accordance with the Civil Code and other applicable laws. Revised Terms apply from the date on which the Company posts them on a website it operates, notifies Users through their registered contact information or another appropriate method, or from any effective date stated in that notice. A User who uses the Service after an amendment is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 14 (Notices)

Notices from the Company concerning the Service will be made by posting them on a website operated by the Company or by another method the Company considers appropriate. Where the Company determines that an individual notice is necessary, it may contact a User through the messaging function, email, post, telephone, or another method using the registered email address, address, or telephone number.

Article 15 (Prohibition of Transfer)

Users may not assign, transfer, pledge, or lease their rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from the Company.

Article 16 (Assignment of Claims)

The Company may assign or otherwise dispose of claims against Users at its discretion. Users hereby consent to such actions.

Article 17 (Business Transfer)

In the event of a business transfer, the Company may transfer contractual positions, rights, obligations, and User information to the transferee. Users consent in advance.

Article 18 (Severability)

If any provision of these Terms, or any part of one, is held invalid under applicable law, all other parts remain in effect. The invalid provision or part will be modified to the extent necessary to make it valid and interpreted, as far as possible, to preserve its intended and legally and economically equivalent effect.

Article 19 (Unspecified Matters)

Unspecified matters or ambiguities in these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the Company's judgment. If unresolved, both parties shall negotiate in good faith.

Article 20 (Language)

The Japanese version of these Terms is the official version. Translations are for reference only and hold no legal weight.

Article 21 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction for the first instance of any disputes.
